A lifelong learner, she founded Frick Kids Art in her home studio in 2023 to share her passion for collage, drawing, painting, sculpture, and sewing. Phyllis loves to experiment with different mediums, continuously finding inspiration in her students while helping them discover their own creative voices.

Emily Heneghan
Emily is currently studying K-12 art education at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Her artistic practice is rooted in exploration, spanning mixed media, sculpture, large-scale painting, and furniture upcycling. She brings a fresh perspective to her students through experimental techniques like moldmaking and casting.

Reilly Duda

Bailey Mahoney
Bailey is a student at Oak Park River Forest High School who believes that "without art the world would be boring." With a natural affinity for creativity and a great rapport with children, Bailey is dedicated to sharing the wonders of artistic expression with the next generation.

Jana Frank
Jana is the owner of Mathnasium in Oak Park/River Forest and a longtime collaborator of Phyllis Frick. She hosts Frick Kids Art Workshops at her center, viewing the intersection of math and art as a vital way to stimulate multiple intelligences and provide a fully engaging learning experience.

Zoe Fritz
Zoë is studying K-12 art education at Calvin University in Michigan. She has a particular passion for 3D art and finding beauty in the small details of nature. She loves working with "rambunctious tiny humans" to help them see the beauty in everything around them.
